Catherine R. Sloan is a public policy consultant on open Internet access, universal connectivity, 5G and IoT, data privacy, content moderation on Internet platforms, emerging quantum technology and the impact of big data analytics, machine learning and augmented intelligence on our economy and society. Following a 20-year career in telecom law, policy, regulation and legislative advocacy, Catherine spent ten years representing popular Internet platforms along with non-dominant telecoms for their trade association CCIA. She holds a law degree from Georgetown University and a journalism degree from Fordham University.
